Mark Cruver isn't guessing what colleges want. As a former Director of Admissions and 1 of only 6 Certified Educational Planners in Georgia, he turns the application process from a game of chance into a strategic certainty.
The college search usually turns into a battle of wills because teenagers feel like they are shooting in the dark.
They aren't.
Getting admitted is a structured system, and Mark Cruver knows the rules intimately. Because he has evaluated thousands of applications from the admissions desk, and constantly travels the country evaluating campuses in person, he gives students an unfair advantage.
When a teenager realizes they have an advocate who knows the admissions staff, knows the actual campuses, and genuinely gets them... the anxiety drops. You get to step back, and they take ownership of their future.

Mark built a deeply rewarding career in higher education, serving as a Director of Admissions for over a decade. He loved the university environment and the incredible students he met along the way. But as he evaluated thousands of applications year after year, he realized that the part of the job he was most passionate about wasn't building a college's incoming class—it was connecting with the young people themselves.
An admissions office only gets to see the final, polished snapshot of a student. Mark wanted to be there for the journey. He recognized that if he took his institutional expertise and shared it with families before the application was ever written, he could have a life-changing impact. He could help students uncover their strengths, set ambitious goals, and build their confidence from the ground up.
Mark founded Capstone because he genuinely cares about putting good into the world and helping young people reach their dreams. As an incredibly thoughtful and dedicated mentor, his ultimate goal is to help teenagers see for themselves that they really can achieve whatever they set their minds to—while giving parents the relief and joy of simply watching them succeed.
